What is Eiffel Tower?:
Eiffel tower is a tower made of a wrought iron lattice in a Paris,France. It is between world most famous places in the world.It is named after Gustave Eiffle, he was owner of the company who built this tower.
Construction of Eiffel Tower:
The construction of Eiffel Tower took 2 years, 2 months and 2 days only. Construction was started in 1887 and was inaugurated in 1889. At the time of its construction it was tallest building in the world. Following there is given detail information about the construction of Eiffel Tower.
Purpose of Construction: Purpose was its construction was to celebrate the 100 years anniversary of french revolution. A tower was to be constructed and from more than 100 proposal this was selected.
Construction: More than 1800 iron pieces were used in the construction of Eiffel tower. 300 steel worker worked for the construction of Eiffel tower. Its height is 300 meters and is changes about 15 cm because iron spreads at high temperature and vise versa.

20 years permission: Eiffel footed 80% of the tower construction cost so he was allowed to stand Eiffel Tower for 20 years. It was decided that after 20 years Government of France will demolish this building in 1909 and will get the iron.
After 1909 Standing: Eiffel didn't want to let tower demolished so he started experiment of wireless and radio communication and he showed the Government that how much important is Eiffel tower so he was permitted to have Eiffel tower after 1909. Eiffel Tower became useful for military purposes and than there came the time when people stopped to thinking about the demolishing of Eiffel Tower.
